During rough weeks like this, when work and life are overwhelming, we need something soft to land on when we come back home. And is there anything softer than cat memes?

We know that it is only the beginning of the week, but that doesn't mean that we are not struggling. That doesn't mean that we don't need a little pick-me-up. We need something to keep us going, keep us smiling, to help us get through the struggles of the week strong and happy. And there aren't a lot of things that do that quite as well as a bunch of soft and wholesome cat memes. That's really all that it takes sometimes. A bunch of pictures of cats being cute with simply pawdorable captions on them, and suddenly, just like that, our smiles turn upside down.

  • We think that there is something about the fact that cats can look comfortable literally everywhere that is just… so special to us. We envy them, really. Their ability to just close their eyes, block out the noise, and enjoy life. Just napping wherever, whenever. On our couches, in flat cardboard boxes, on top of our favorite plants. They just plop themselves down and live life to their fullest.

  • We do anything and everything that makes them happy, and if it just so happens to make us happy too, then everything is all the better for it. And this would make us happy. It would make us endlessly happy. In fact, this isn't even our cat, but we are very, very happy looking at these pictures. Now, we just need to know how you found out that this is the exact way that he liked to be petted, and our lives would be complete. Because that story simply has to be hilarious.
